The following is a picture of John Udell, born 1816 in Pickering Ontario, grandson of Mathew Udell, a soldier in the 26th or Cameronian Regiment, and son of John Udell "the hunter” and Margaret Brown. With him is Lambert Lunau, born 16 February 1862, son of his daughter Mary Jane Udell and John Jacob Lunau. Picture likely taken circa 1870.
