This is a picture of Nancy Udell, born 1810 her husband Robert Meddaugh and an unidentified woman. I do know that Nancy’s mother Margaret Brown was living with her son William circa 1850. This is confirmed in the 1851 census record for Canada West, Elgin County the township of Dorchester. In that census Margaret is listed as being 70 years old. I also know that she was living with Robert and Nancy in 1860 from the census record for Lexington, Sanilac, Michigan where she is shown as being 78 years old. Maybe the woman in the picture is Margaret Brown??
