erved during the War of 1812/13 in the 1st York Militia: From 16 to 20 October 1812 he served at York in Captain James Fenwick Company; From 16 to 17 November 1812 in Captain James Musterd’s detachment looking for deserters in the woods; From 8 to 27 July 1814 he served in Captain Jeremiah Travis company; from 17 to 24 October 1814 he served in Captain Stephen Heward’s detachment; From 25 October to 16 November he served in York in a mixed detachment under Captain Heward.
