-John Stow was baptized  on 14 January 1582 in Biddenden, Kent England. He married Elizabeth Buggs on 13 September 1608 at Biddenden. Elizabeth was baptized at Cranbrook, Kent on 1 November 1590. They emigrated to New England arrived on 17 May 1634. They settled in Boston and he was a member of the Ancient and Honourable Artillery Company.  They moved to Roxbury and he was twice elected to the General Assembly . He moved to Concord in 1648. He sold his property there in 1652 and is thought to have lived with his son Thomas.
 
Their son Thomas Stow married Mary Griggs.  In the next generation their daughter Elizabeth married Samuel Bidewell. In the next generation their daughter Elizabeth Bidewell married Caleb Brainerd.
