In 1847 most of the family moved to Troy, N.Y. and then to Prihceville, Illinois in 1849.
Two sons and a daughter remained in Markham.
Elizabeth died two days before her 105 birthday. “she took hert usual walk the day before she died and thje morning of her death she arose and made her own bed. She was known as a kind and gracious lady. Her children were brought up in the fear of the God.”
