Came on the ship “Plough” in 1631. He was likely an indentured servant to Major Edward Gibbons.
Made a “Freeman” in 1646.
One of his daughter “Deliverance”, her husband and 5 of her 8 children were killed in an Indian attack on Groton on 27 July 1694.
The other 3 were taken into captivity, one daughter died of starvation, one entered a convent in Quebec and the remaining son was
ransomed and reluctantly returned in 1699.
