On the 30th of August 1316 Peter de Uvedale and Hugh le Despenser entered into an agreement where Peter was to do service to Hugh in peace and in war.75
On 8 March 1318 Humphrey de Bohun, Earl of Hereford and Essex, granted to Peter that he would not have to pay rent from his manor of Stapleford Tawney, so long as Margaret, late wife of Laurence de Tany, held one-third of the manor. 76
12 March Peter de Uvedale and Humphrey de Bohun, sign an indenture where Peter agreed to serve the Earl “himself and his bachelor knights”.77
3 October 1324 Peter de Uvedale lands at Bordeaux in the company of Nicholas Hugate, on his way to the war of Saint-Sardos.78,79
In October 1325 Peter issues letters of attorney nominating Walter de Prynho and William de Wyk’, clerk, in England for a year. 80

In 1335 King Edward III called Peter de Uvedale to go to an expedition to Scotland, he brought his step son Oliver de Denham and Robert de la Rokele.84
