In 1319 Sir John de Uvedale had licence to grant his manor of Bedingham, Norfolk to the prior and convent of St. Mary of Walsingham “to them and their successors forever”.69
On 4 January 1322 the King sent a note to the constable of Dover Castle and warden of the Cinque Ports directing him to permit John de Uvedale to cross the sea from Dover with his horses and household to Santiago.70

Bannaret, then Sir Thomas de Uvedale Kt., then Sir John Uvedale, Kt. who married Sibilla Scures and through him to finally John Uvedale the plaintiff. The court case from 1422 when John Uvedale sued William Wode and William Bassett for lands and rents in Camberwell and Peckham, Surrey.2
